About Vina

Design is a superpower and I intend to be a force of good.

I enjoy crafting delightful design solutions and creatively defying limitations to facilitate better user experience and usability.

I’ve always been a tinkerer. I enjoy problem-solving, learning how something works, optimizing systems, and simplifying complex information. Being a designer allows me to do all of these and more. I am ever-evolving and ready to take on the challenge of learning something new.

I started in the gaming and hospitality industry learning how to work in a fast-paced environment and understanding multi-media production. I later transitioned to retail as an in-house graphic designer —maintaining the brand by designing promotional materials, in-store signages, and product packaging. While searching for a deeper purpose in my career, I found the opportunity to work in the healthcare advertising industry where my love for science and art intersect.

As I shifted my designs to be more empathetic toward patients and understand the pain points of healthcare providers, I stumbled upon my love for UX and the design thinking process. Making every decision intentionally to benefit the users brought a new set of exciting challenges. I’ve always been a puzzle lover. UX keeps me excited to solve human interaction problems and create delightful experiences. I’m eager to learn more and excited to see where healthcare and tech take me. If you’re looking for a highly analytic and fun-loving creative, let’s connect!

Integrating our design solutions using the basic building blocks of a robust UI kit in Figma, allows us to stay within the approved guidelines while pushing the envelope on creativity and usability. Collaborating with external agencies and various stakeholders, we do our best to apply feedback based on business needs while keeping our users at the center of our design decisions.
